About
ESI Equipment Inc. has been providing fire/rescue equipment, training, and other services since 1990. Initially taking on the Holmatro Rescue Tool Line, ESI’s customer base has increased to a total of over 1,000 First Responder (Fire, EMS, Rescue, Police, Military) and Industrial customers.
ESI has become one of the largest full-service dealers in North America, handling dozens of different fire/rescue equipment lines that includes Enforcer/FireAde. The JYD (Junkyard Dog) Division manufacturers stabilization and safety devices, while the Apparatus Division builds first response vehicles for on and off-road purposes.
ESI’s Race Track Safety Services supplies fire/rescue products and technical support to tracks and also on-track response crews and vehicles for special racing events. The RTSS provides training to tracks conducting SFI certification for Fire/Rescue and Jump-Medic programs.

The concept of ESI Equipment's Race Track Safety Services Division came from years of experience providing technical support and training services to on-track teams dating back to 1990 when ESI supported the IndyCar/CART/Champ Car safety teams.
ESI Race Track Safety Services is a Proud Supplier of IMSA supplying safety equipment and training to the track services safety team and the Official Partner of the AMR INDYCAR Safety Team. ESI RTSS also assists in the safety team training during the regular season and pre-season sessions.

Track Services
Personnel
RTSS Response Staff is a group of hand-picked, experienced track responders that have worked or currently are with national series or large track crews, extensively trained, and carry SFI certifications in Fire/Rescue and/or Jump Medic Response. ESI RTSS has two fully equipped Track Response Vehicles available, with a crew, to support various series and track services during special or national series events.

ESI RTSS’s goal is to ensure that track personnel and lifesaving equipment are race-ready at all times during an event, providing technical support and equipment to a number of series, sanctioning bodies, and tracks, and track response training during race season that reaches a national level. ESI’s highly skilled technicians provide preventative maintenance procedures and testing prior to each major event. Personal protective equipment is available for each track responder and our RTSS Support Trailer provides a common space, and a meeting area for first responders.

ESI RTSS supports the International Council of Motorsport Sciences (ICMS) programs and was part of the group that initially established the Race Track Safety Program (RTSP). ESI personnel have become SFI certified instructors and travel throughout the US conducting SFI training programs for fire/rescue/EMS responders.
